Parts Manager- Garner

Hudson’s is looking to hire a full-time Parts Manager at our Garner Location.  As a Parts Manager you will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels from various vendors in our growing outdoor equipment department.

 

Responsibilities for this position are:

  • Greet customers and help them lookup parts, and assist them with equipment sales
  • Work along side of other managers and fill in when needed in their absence
  • Work along side of other employees as a team and train others as needed
  • Order parts for stock and special orders in a timely manor
  • Maintain an orderly system for which parts are ordered, checked-in, and allocated
  •  Maintain close inventory levels
  •  
  • Maintain the correct skus and prices on items
  • Keep parts room clean and organized
  • Keep Counter area neat and organized
  • Keep shelves in showroom stocked with fast moving parts

 

Qualifications for this position are:

  • Great customer service skill.

  • Friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Good verbal and written skills.
  • Technical mindset is a must.
  • 1 year experience (preferred).
  • High school diploma or GED.

Small Engine Technician- Clayton / Garner

We are looking for a full time small engine technician at our Clayton location. The small engine technician at Hudson’s assumes the responsibility of repairing equipment to keep the service department efficient and profitable. Compensation for this position will be based on experience and qualifications. 

Job Requirements:

  1. Must be able to lift up to 100lbs as well as being able to kneel, stand, and squat 
  2. Must have knowledge of small engines as well as hydraulics and electrical systems
  3. Must provide your own tools and maintain your tools as needed
  4. Must maintain a professional appearance
  5. Must be willing to work as a team

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with lead technician and service manager to make sure all equipment is repaired in a timely and efficient manner
  2. Must maintain an efficiency of at least 70% with minimal comebacks
  3. Keep a neat and clean work space, making sure to keep all torn down equipment organized and together
  4. Make sure all work orders are legible, accurate and in their designated space at the end of the day
  5. Making sure all parts are looked up correctly and ordered if needed but only if approved by customer
  6. Must keep safety in mind with all repairs, must wear personal protective equipment at all times
  7. Must be willing to do other jobs as needed

Parts Clerk- Garner

We are looking for a part time parts clerk at our Clayton location. As a parts clerk you will be challenged with many tasks that keep our outdoor power equipment department flowing. Compensation for this position will be based on experience and qualifications. 

Responsibilities for this position are:

  • Greeting every customer with a smile
  • Helping customers with parts lookup
  • Assembling new equipment to keep showroom stocked
  • Assisting customers with questions about parts, equipment, etc.
  • New equipment sales.
  • Writing service tickets in detail to effectively describe the problem.
